Biography

Zhenying received a Bachelor’s from Nanjing University of Science and Technology and a Master’s degree from Tufts University in Environmental Engineering before she switched her major and obtained another Master’s degree in Simulation Science from RWTH Aachen University. Afterwards, she continued her research on numerical methods at RWTH Aachen University with focus on equality and inequality constrained optimization and model order reduction techniques and received her doctor’s degree in Mathematics at the end of 2016.

Research interests

Model order reduction, reduced basis method, a posteriori error estimation, uncertainty qualification, machine learning.
